Hallowed Haunting Grounds 1973 - 2005

 For thirty-three years, during the Halloween season, there appeared at a home in Studio City, California a display of mysterious illusions. It was known as the Hallowed Haunting Grounds. Hundreds of visitors made seeing the display a part of their annual traditions.

Hallowed Haunting Grounds inspired untold numbers of haunts and haunters with its subtle artistry.

A decaying statue of a skeleton plays a flute fashioned from a femur. The eerie sounds invoke various manifestations to rise from the cold, lifeless earth.

Many souls are trapped in this forsaken tree. Forever rooted, they suffer the anguish and torment of watching the passage of life and time.

Within this mysterious crypt the image of a ghost is occasionally seen. Shifting and fading and appearing again, never quite able to be resolved, the impression is that of a female figure. The voice of this apparition can be heard intoning…

In response to an impassioned exhortation, this veiled figure appears. She drifts gently through the mist, searching for those she loved in life. A blaze of lightning reveals her seraphic form.
