Concept
"Ghostform" by Ian Llanas got me thinking. That often ends up in a dark place.
Certainly a haunter could be in a skeleton costume and mask, covered in sheer material, and lit red. Certainly that haunter could be free to stand, jump, scream, whatever.
But....
What if the head was a mask and the rest was a façade? Maybe a large skeleton (like the one from a popular big-box hardware store?)was perched upon a throne. Sitting down like this, it would be made to appear not much larger than normal.
The actor, however, would actually be sitting in a crouched position with her/her feet on the seat of the chair behind the skeleton. The head could be a mask, but the rest of the body would be suspended from a harness. By suddenly standing in the chair, the skeleton would suddenly tower over the patrons!
My humble suggestion.
Happy Halloween!
