Abandoned Rail
An abandoned railroad, Victoria Peak, Taiwan. LOVE the way the forest has reclaimed these tracks!
The Jianqinghuaigu Trail follows an old timber-transporting railway. The Taiping Mountain Forest Railway was built in 1921 through this dense forest of cypress, hemlock, and cedar.
A small portion of the railway was restored as a sightseeing train from Taiping Mountain Villa to Maoxing Station.
