Mr. Jones

The 10th anniversary of  the 2013 movie Mr. Jones is coming in April.  If you are a fan of Pumpkinrot and have not seen this movie, you owe it to yourself to watch it!

The movie got mixed reviews - 50% positive by critics according to Rotten Tomatoes.  Only 20% fresh by audiences.  Ouch!  horror movies usually go the other way, which I guess gives you some idea that this is not your typical blood and guts horror movie.  It's no Babadook either, which I mean as a compliment.

The scarecrows in the woods and in Mr. Jones' lair are amazing!  Absolutely fantastic pieces filmed in a creepy atmosphere.

The scarecrows are worth it, even if you hate "found footage" type stuff.  I also happened to like the interviews of the characters who received pieces from the elusive and mysterious Mr. Jones and how it affected them.
